CUMULATIVE FLOW DIAGRAM
Cumulative flow diagram helps you to spot bottlenecks in your workflow. It shows the proportions of work in each state as your project progresses. See how much work has been done, what is in progress and how much is still waiting to be done in the backlog.
IS YOUR WORK FLOWING SMOOTHLY OR PILING UP?
Each coloured area of the chart represents a workflow state (i.e. column in your board). The horizontal x-axis indicates time, and the vertical y-axis indicates the number of tasks. You can easily spot bottlenecks in your workflow by looking at widening areas in your chart. If you find one, it means that your tasks are piling up in that specific state and you should take an action to figure why that happens.
SEE THE NUMBER OF TASKS IN DIFFERENT STATES
See the breakdown of the number of tasks in different states in your workflow right now. You can have all or a subset of your states included.
SEE THE TREND OF YOUR TOTAL THROUGHPUT
This chart shows the trend of your team's total throughput. Each sample in the trend line represents the total number of tasks completed during the previous 30 day period. The number below the line shows the value for today i.e. the number of tasks completed in the last 30 days.
