Introducing Aggregate Reports: Track metrics across multiple projects

Feb 27, 2017

Sometimes it can be hard to stay track of your work if your tasks are scattered over multiple boards. This can happen if you’re working on multiple projects at once, or if your projects are split into multiple separate boards. Worry no more, we’ve just released a data aggregation feature, which allows you to track and visualise activity over multiple data sources in one chart.

You’ll find the new aggregation feature in the screen settings. Just go to any of your charts and click the settings icon, you’ll notice that there’s a new tab called Sources, which shows all the available data sources.

To aggregate data from more than one data source, just select the data sources you want to include. When you go back to your dashboard, you’ll see the same chart but now it’s combining data from all of the selected sources.

On the top left corner, below the main title, there's a text "+2 more" which tells that this chart is now combining data from three different sources.

Notice that in order to aggregate all the boards you want, you have to add them as data sources by creating new dashboards first. Why is that? It's because Screenful needs to know the workflow mapping of those data sources before it can aggregate metrics reliably.

Have fun aggregating your data!
