Creating a custom chart

To create a custom chart, first select Dashboard settings from the menu:

A window opens with dashboard settings shown. Click the create custom chart link at the bottom of the window:

After clicking the link you'll get a set of drop down menus which allow you to specify the kind of chart you want to create.

Once you click Create chart, a new screen is added to your dashboard showing the custom chart you created.

The table below is a complete list of metrics available for a custom chart. 

 

Custom chart metrics

Metric Description
Reaction time (avg, completed tasks) The average time it takes before work is started on a task. Counted only from tasks that have been completed.
Lead time (avg, completed tasks) The average time it takes to complete a task. This includes reaction time.
Cycle time (avg, completed tasks) The average time a tasks stays in progress before it's completed. This doesn't include reaction time.
Tasks in done The number of tasks in the Done state.
Points in done The sum of the units of estimate (e.g. story points) in the Done state.
Tasks count The total number of tasks in the system.
Points count The total number of units of estimate (e.g. story points) in the system
Tasks not started The number of tasks in the 'not started' state.
Points not started The sum of the units of estimate (e.g. story points) in 'not started' state.
Tasks in progress The number of tasks in 'in progress' state
Points in progress The sum of the units of estimate (e.g. story points) in 'in progress' state
Tasks completed The number of tasks completed within a given time frame (according to the date range filter)
Points completed The sum of the units of estimate (e.g. story points) completed within a given time frame (according to the date range filter)
Time in state The average time that a task stays in a specific workflow state
