Analytics & Reports is now available on the GitHub Marketplace 🙌

We’re happy to let you know that you can now install our Analytics & Reports app via the GitHub Marketplace. On top of that, we’ve added a bunch of new features targeted specifically to our GitHub users.

If you’re using GitHub project boards, you can now import those boards as data sources for your charts and reports. Read on to learn more about the latest improvements to our GitHub integration.

We’ve added support for project boards

Previously you’ve been able to import repositories as data sources. From now on, you can choose to import project boards as well. We support both user-owned and organization-wide project boards as well as repository project boards. You can import a project board by selecting GitHub Projects as the data source in the first step of the wizard:

Once you have authorized access to the GitHub API, you’ll be shown a list of project boards in your account.

You can select one or more of your project boards for import. Once you click Next, you get to specify your workflow.

How does your workflow look like? Use the mapping tool to map your board columns to Not started, In progress, and Done. This information is used in tracking the timing information such as lead or cycle time of issues as they progress through your workflow.

Once you click Next, your data source is set up and you can use it in your charts and reports.

We’re now on the GitHub Marketplace

We’re happy to let you know that you can now install Screenful via the GitHub Marketplace.

When you purchase an app via the marketplace, your existing billing information is used and the cost of the app is included in your GitHub bill.

Once you start a free trial, you can cancel at any time during your trial period without being charged, but you will automatically lose access to the app. Your paid subscription will start at the end of the 14-day trial. You can see the pricing tiers on the Marketplace listing page, and you can learn more about the billing of the Marketplace apps from this guide.
