Table chart

The Table Chart allows viewing data as rows and columns. It aggregates the task data into sums, averages, and other statistics in a pivot table. Segment your data by label, assignee, epic, or by any other property. With configurable columns and support for formulas, it allows great flexibility for analyzing your data.

See the number of tasks in different states

Select any property as a row (label, assignee, etc.) and configure columns to display the metrics you want to see such as:

  • How long does it take to complete a specific type of task on average?

  • How long do tasks stay in specific steps?

  • How are the metrics of different teams compared to one another?

Use the formula column to calculate values based on other columns

The calculated column is a special type of column that displays data that is computed based on the data in the other columns

Automatically determine the cost of a new product order or score for a new lead.

When you write a calculated column formula, it is automatically applied to the whole table and evaluated individually for each row.

Learn more about the calculated column or see the available functions.

Click through to see the individual tasks

When you click a number of tasks in a completed tasks column, you'll get a list of individual tasks behind the count. You can aggregate data from multiple boards so if your tasks are scattered over multiple projects, you'll get one list that combines tasks from all of the data sources.

Get a summary of your data to see the bigger picture

The summary row shows the totals for each column. A summary can be either:

  • Sum: Shows the sum of the numbers in the column.

  • Average: Shows the average of the numbers in the column.

  • Median: Shows the median of the numbers in the column.

The Summary type can be configured for each column separately in the chart settings.
