Epics Screen
Epics are a great way to organise your individual tasks into larger bodies of work. An epic is essentially a large task (or user story) that can be broken down into a number of smaller tasks or stories. Epics allow you to establish a hierarchy for your backlog so that you can start planning longer term outcomes.
SEE THE PROGRESS OF INDIVIDUAL EPICS
See the progress of your epics as a progress bar. The bar shows the ratio of completed work out off all work assigned to an epic. Partly completed work is not counted, the progress bar reflects only the tasks that have been moved to a done state.
SEE THE NUMBER OF TASKS IN DIFFERENT STATES
The rightmost column shows the total number of tasks in different states per epic. You can click through to see the actual tasks behind the numbers.
If you’re using Jira, Asana, or Pivotal Tracker, you can also see the number of blocked tasks within an epic.
TRACK KEY METRICS AND SPOT ANOMALIES
In the chart settings, you can select which metrics or KPIs are shown in the right column. For example, you may want to surface the tasks that have been in progress for a long time or the ones that are overdue.
