What is a data source?

It depends on what tool you are using. In Trello, Jira, or monday.com it’s a board. In Asana it’s a project.

GitHub is an exception in the sense that you can have multiple repositories within one data source.

Can I grant Screenful access only to specific data sources?

Data sources are authorised when they are created. Screenful will have access to the same boards as the user that is doing the authorisation. To limit which data sources Screenful can access, you should authorise the data sources with a user that has access only to those data sources that you want Screenful to see. This could be a normal user that happens to have access to the right data sources or it could be user created specifically for the purpose of authorising the Screenful integration.

Why is my data source only going back 90 days?

When a new data source is created, we generate 90 days of history. This is because pulling data from APIs is slow and we don’t want to keep you waiting. However, there is a workaround. You can select 'Data sync options' from the main menu. If you select the data source and click the red 'Reset' button, the system will regenerate the stats with as much history as your plan allows (6 months in the free trial).

What does “data history” mean in your pricing table

For example, 12 months of data history means that your charts can extend maximum 12 months to the history. The length of the history depends on the plan so that more expensive plans allow looking at the trends from a longer time period.
