Setup Screenful for GitHub

When you deploy Screenful via the GitHub Marketplace, your existing billing information is used, and the cost is included in your GitHub bill. Once you start a free trial, you can cancel any time during your trial period without being charged. Your paid subscription will start at the end of the 14-day trial.

Option 2: Install Screenful GitHub App

We provide a GitHub App as an alternative to the Marketplace (OAuth) app.

The GitHub App provides additional benefits in terms of security and manageability. Since It is not integrated with the GitHub billing system, you will be asked to enter a credit card once the free trial ends. To install the Screenful GitHub App, follow the steps in this guide.

Import repositories and project boards

You need to authorize Screenful to access the GitHub API to get started. Once done, you will be shown a list of projects. Select one or more projects to be imported to Screenful.

You can import either GitHub Projects or GitHub Repositories. You can do that selection whenever you are importing new data sources:

Once you have imported at least one data source, you can create custom charts and reports to track your issues and pull requests.
